HOW ACCFIN’S DIGITAL SIGNATURES ARE GOING TO WORK WITH ACCFIN PRODUCTS Our digital signature system is fully integrated into ProSeries and SKY tax. The main aim of the Sky Sign system is to allow clients to approve various documents that need to be approved by an accountant's clients. These are;-
tax return submissions
provisional tax submissions
shareholder and directors resolutions
statutory forms that require a signature
Let us take the example of Provisional Tax, say we have just processed a large number of provisional tax calculations, IRP6 forms and letters. We want to send them to the clients for approval. The necessary links are embedded in the email to the clients. When the client receives the letter the link is clicked opening a secure website and the letter opens ready for signature. The client registers with the web site (once only) and the system gives the client the opportunity to affix their signature to the letter either accepting or rejecting the contents. The acceptance can be by way of a signed name or a sign indicating their signature. The client can in fact draw or type their signature. They would then be in a position to attach their signature, confirming the contents of the letter, or in fact rejecting the contents of the letter. Once they do this and they have signed the document, it comes back to the sender and the contents of the acceptance or rejection is automatically read into the Accfin system. The beauty of doing this is that the sender can now sort this into acceptance or rejections or no response and proceed with the filing of the necessary processing or filing of returns or documents. The system will also be used for tax returns on a one-to-one basis. Once the signature is fixed to the letter and returned to the sender this will stand up in a court of law and will conform to all the Laws in regard to digital signatures.
Pricing for unlimited signatures is R250 exclusive per month to be paid by debit order and is per user. This charge is an additional extra to the Sky licence fee and can be paid by monthly debit order or annually. Owing to the complexity of the take on and the integration there will be a once off charge of 1500 exclusive for training and setup per user.
